The entire nation is proud of the fearlessness shown by the son of the soil Cobra Jawan Rakeshwar Singh Manhas, who remained in the captivity of naxalites after the Bijapur attack in Chhatisgarh State.
This was stated by senior BJP leader and former minister Bali Bhagat after meeting Rakeshwar Manhas and his family members here at his residence on Monday.
The senior BJP functionary said that bravery shown by the CRPF Constable hailing from Jammu’s Lower Barnai area is exceptional as he remained stout and sturdy despite passing through such an ordeal. Bali Bhagat said that the whole nation was awaiting his return while the family passed through unexplainable trauma and disappointment till the brave-heart returned home.
After deliberate discussion on this daredevil happening and getting information from Rakeshwar Manhas, Bali Bhagat thanked the Government of India for its unrelenting support in the release of CRPF Constable hailing from Jammu. He said that the release of constable Manhas is a matter of pride for the entire nation and the same has helped in boosting the morale of security forces engaged in anti-terror combat.
Earlier, Bali Bhagat garlanded the gallant soldier and presented a Tricolour to him. While interacting with the parents and other family members of Rakeshwar Manhas, Bali Bhagat congratulated them on the return of their brave son. Later, Bali Bhagat demanded stern and decisive action against the terrorists in the country. He said though government has tighten noose around terror mongers but need of time is to further strengthen anti-terror Bandobast so that no one can dare to even try to indulge in terror activities. He wished Rakeshwar Manhas good luck and asked him to continue with the good work to ensure security and safety of the country.
