Sewa Singh Bali, State General Secretary Panthers Trade Union, J&K discussed matter of enlisting the name of Degree College, Ukhral in the upcoming list of Degree Colleges with the Advisor to the Governor and his goodself has assured for favourable decision for the poor people of the area of Pogal Prasthan, Ukhral for which the people of the area has been protesting for a long time and the Hon’ble High Court had issued favourable order, it was also disappointing that despite Court Order, the name of the Degree College, Ukhral was not enlisted in the recent, if again the name of the Degree College, Ukhral would not enlisted in upcoming list, then all the rest of the Colleges will be stayed under Court of Law.
Mr. Bali also had discussed the matter of regularizing about the policy of the period of service of SPOs with the Principal Secretary Home, J&K and dwelt upon expressing about the dedication and devotion of the SPOs exhibited at their time of duty. Mr. Bali had also requested to the Principal Secretary, Home to release the salary of the month of October, as their families suffers a lot due to the no wages and it has also been observed that a kind of injustice has been causing to the SPOs for a longer time. This matter has also been discussed and expanded for the favourable results to be bestowed to see and realize about the true service of SPOs.
A delegation met with Director Finance Home (DFH)Department under the leadership of Sewa Singh Bali. During the meeting Sewa Singh Bali highlighted the demand of SPOs in front of DFH. After listening to the demand Director directed to concerned authorities to immediately release the salary of SPOs on priority.
Mr. Shanker Singh Chib, State Secretary, Baldev Singh & Durga Dass were also present in the press conference.
