As soon as the local people got the news of water filling at Bandhurakh Seoda receiving station after the rain, the large number of people gathered near the receiving station, people said that after heavy rain in the morning, the power went off suddenly, they felt that once again water has entered the receiving station, as soon as the news of people gathering at the receiving station was received, State Congress General Secretary and former Chairman of Jammu Municipal Corporation Satish Sharma also reached there, local people told Satish Sharma that the drain which is coming from above to below and from the canal, that drain has been made underground and that drain gets Blocked from there due to which the water of the drain comes back and enters into the receiving station, after which the power has to be switched off as a precaution and this problem has been going on since a long time, after listening to the problem of the people’s , Satish Sharma talked to Jammu Municipal Corporation Commissioner Rahul Yadav over the phone and asked him to clean the drain but he refused by saying that Bandhurakh does not come under the Municipal Corporation and the area comes under the department should go there and work, after which Satish Sharma talked to BDO Sandeep of Rural Development Department over the phone and told him about the problem, he said that he will send his team there on Monday and try to solve it, Satish Sharma talked to the senior officers of the Electricity Department over the phone and asked them to take steps from their side to solve the problem, Satish Sharma said that no department is serious about this problem due to the negligence especially the electricity department, thousands of people are facing problems, he said that if the problem is not solved in a day or two, then we will protest against the administration.
