Today, in response to the call of J&K High Court Bar Association, Jammu, work remained paralyzed in all the Courts to protest against the brutal killings of two innocent die hard Nationalist persons from Kishtwar namely Sh. Chander Kant Sharma and his PSO Sh. Rajinder. Relevant here to mention that since the eruption of militancy in the State of J&K Sh. Chander Kant Sharma was fighting against the Anti National forces in Kishtwar, in particular and State of J&K in general. He always kept the National Flag flying high and never compromised in fighting the Anti National forces. Yesterday, both were shot dead by the suspected terrorist – which is a matter of serious concern and needs to be condemned by one and all in one voice.
Taking serious note of the increasing trend of attacks on innocent Nationalist people and security personnel, the members of the Association strongly condemned the cowardly attack in which Mr. Chander Kant Sharma & Mr. Rajinder PSO attained martyrdom in fighting against the Anti National elements and their allied supporters in the State. Their sacrifice for the cause of Nation shall always be remembered for all times to come. The J&K High Court Bar Association, Jammu paid rich tributes to the departed souls and pledged to stand by the bereaved families. It also prayed to the Almighty to give strength and courage to the bereaved families to bear the irreparable loss, besides their souls may rest in peace.
Mr Slathia, expressed his anguish that despite availability of sufficient security set up, there is a complete failure to bring to book the culprits who succeeded in assassinating Parihar Brothers since November, 2018 which too is a matter of grave concern. Mr. Slathia urged the State as well as Central Government to identify and book such elements who are involved in killings of innocent Parihar Brothers, Mr. Chander Kant Sharma & his PSO. He further stated that the people of the State in particular and Nation in general must be informed about such elements who are involved in such activities in order to enable the Nationalists people to join hands in fighting such elements. Mr. Slathia, further urged His Excellency the Governor of the State to take stern action against such subversive elements to curb the menace of terrorism and to ensure peaceful atmosphere in the State. It was further urged by Mr Slathia that such like incidents should be investigated by all seriousness by a Specialized Investigating Agency to nab the culprits responsible for this cowardly act of killing innocent persons which has caused fear psychosis amongst the Nationalist People in the State in general and Kishtwar in particular.
