Apart from Criminal Justice: A Family Matter, actress Barkha Singh was also seen recently in Amazon MX Player’s youth-oriented show Lafangey, which also starred Gagan Arora, Anud Singh Dhaka, Harsh Beniwal and Saloni Gaur. Before this project, Barkha was supposed to work with its director Prem Mistry in another show but that didn’t work out at the last minute, which disappointed her.In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama, Barkha said, “It was my zidd that I will surely work with this director. So, when I got a call for the audition (for Lafangey), I said, ‘I am giving this audition but I am doing this role’. I said if they don’t like this audition, I will keep on giving more auditions but I want to do this role (laughs).” Working on Lafangey was smooth for her as she knows Gagan, Anud and Harsh for, at least, 10 years. “Harsh not very much as he stays in Delhi,” she said. “It was a different kind of a fun working with them. A lot of funny incidents used to happen on the sets. But the shoot was tough. Poora Lafanga bana rakha tha humko (laughs).”Sharing about her upcoming projects, Barkha said, “I am reading a few scripts as I have got offers after these two releases, for which I am very happy about. I have already shot one show but it hasn’t been announced. I hope it comes soon because you will see me in a very different light in that. It’s a very serious show.”
