Former Minister and senior Congress leader on Tuesday visited Govt Medical College to enquire the health of one Ganga Ram resident of Nanak Nagar who was seriously injured in his face by a fierce leopard on the loose which the Wildlife Department officials managed to capture alive in Green Belt Park area of posh Gandhi Nagar area of Jammu on Tuesday. Earlier panic created after receiving information that a cub of a leopard had been spotted roaming in the Green Belt Park area. After meeting the victim, Bhalla demanded Govt a suitable compensation to him besides top class free of cost treatment.
He also demanded increased compensation given to victims of attacks by wild animals as well as the money provided for the treatment of cattle injured in such attacks. If the treatment needs to be carried out in private hospitals, then the compensation for this should be provided to victim Ganga Ram, Bhalla demanded.
