Extending active support to the aggrieved students of Cluster University Jammu, who are agitating against alleged faulty evaluation of intermediate semesters, JKPCC Vice President and former Minister Raman Bhalla on Monday night visited Science College to express his solidarity with students.Protesting students told former Minister that the Cluster University Jammu was playing with the academic future of students enrolled in the University.
They claimed that the Cluster University had notified examination guidelines for UG intermediate semesters according to which there was relaxation of 20 percent syllabus and 50 percent attempt of theory part.
“The University had assured the students that the marks they obtain in the theory papers shall be doubled as one time exemption but the same was not done in case of several students, who have been declared re-appear .They accused the Cluster University administration of harassing the students enrolled in its respective Colleges. Cluster University of Jammu did not evaluate the papers properly nor doubled the marks,” they said and demanded instructions to Cluster University Jammu for either modifying the result or notify date for the re-examination.
