Expressing his gratitude toward people for their overwhelming support in the ongoing campaign, former Minister and Congress candidate for RSPura – Jammu South Assembly segment Raman Bhalla on Wednesday at RS Pura & said that he is fighting election to restore the dignity and honour of the common masses.“During the last ten-year tenure of the BJP rule in Jammu and Kashmir from 2014 to 2024, it was the common masses who wore the maximum brunt of the anti-poor policies of the government”, Mr Bhalla said after addressing a rally before filing his nomination paper.
Thousands of party workers and people belonging to all sections of the society from every nook and corner of the RS Pura-Jammu South participated in the rally which was organized in support of Mr Raman Bhalla.“People’s participation in today’s rally is clear that Congress will win RS Pura-Jammu South seat with hands down as common masses want to give a befitting reply to the BJP for the anti-poor policies brazenly propagated by the party during the last decade”, Mr. Bhalla said, adding, “The ten-year tenure of the BJP government in Jammu and Kashmir would be remembered as the darkest period in the political history of J&K”.
“I am very much aware of the hardship being faced by the common masses during the last ten years. I assured the basic problems of the people would be solved on priority after the formation of the Congress-NC coalition government in Jammu and Kashmir”, he asserted and assured the people that all their problems would be solved after October 8. Bhalla launched a scathing attack on the BJP, criticizing its failure to address the day-to-day problems faced by the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
“Despite being in power, the BJP has failed to provide basic amenities and services to the citizens, leaving them to suffer”, he said and pointed out that the BJP’s tall promises and claims have remained unfulfilled, and the people of J&K continue to face numerous challenges in their daily lives.“ From power outages to water scarcity, from unemployment to lack of healthcare facilities, the BJP has failed to deliver on its promises”, he said.“The BJP has been in power for years, but it has done little to improve the lives of the people of J&K,” said Mr Bhalla, adding, “Instead of addressing the real issues, the BJP is busy with its divisive politics and propaganda”.
He also criticized the BJP for its failure to create jobs, improve infrastructure, and provide basic amenities like electricity and water. “The people of J&K deserve better, and it’s high time to teach BJP a lesson for its deceitful tactics”.Tarlok Singh Bajwa Ex MP, PCC Gen Secy Amrit Bali, Satish Sharma , Bhushan Dogra Ex MLA, Dalip Kumar BDC RS Pura, S.
