A ‘Bharat Darshan’ tour is being organized by CRPF under Civic Action Program. Children from various districts of J&K are participating in this tour. Shri S.L.C. Khup, DIG CRPF Range Hiranagar flagged off 15 children for the tour here from Headquarters 166 Bn CRPF, New PCR Camp Sidhra at Jammu. Pertinently, 166 Bn CRPF is facilitating a 07 days tour, starting from 11.01.2019, during which the children would be visiting various historical places in Delhi, Bengaluru and Mysore.
During his address to the students, Shri Khup DIG reiterated that such programs organized by CRPF commensurate the public friendly image of the Force and reflects its commitment towards contribution in the development of society. He also appealed students to learn wherever they visit. Enthusiasm was evident among the students going for tour. Highlighting the requirement of such programs, Shri Ashish Kumar Jha Commandant 166 Bn CRPF appealed children to become exemplary citizens of the country. The main objective of this mission is to apprise youth about the social harmony in the nation and culture, heritage and tourist places of the different parts of the nation so that become better citizens.
The entire arrangement of conveyance to Delhi, Banguluru and Mysoreis made by CRPF besides providing other utility items such as track suit, shoes and bag etc to children. During the program, local citizens Shri Shiv Dayal and Shri Chhajju Ram besides touring children Arif Hussain and Sahil Ahmed thanked CRPF for providing such opportunity to them.
The arrangement for the tour is made under the guidance of Shri Ashish Kumar Jha Commandant 166 Bn CRPF. During the event, Shri Ram Kumar Commandant 38 Bn CRPF, Shri K D Joshi Commandant 160 Bn CRPF, Shri Anil Kumar Second-in-Command 166 Bn CRPF, Dr. Amit Kumar CMO 166 Bn, CRPF, Shri Amit Singh Second-in-Command 126 Bn CRPF, Shri K L Dhiman Second-in-Command 76 Bn CRPF, Shri Vikas Singh Second-in-Command Jammu Sector CRPF besides other officers and personnel of CRPF were also present.
