Actress Rimi Sen has sued a motor car company for Rs 50 crores. A notice has been issued against Navnit Motors, Jaguar Land Rover, and Satish Motors by Rimi, who is named Subhamitra Sen in the legal notice. The notice states that Rimi faced recurring issues with car manufacturers.The complaint read, “Around 25th August 2022, the Complainant bumped the said Car into a pillar from the rear end due to the rear end camera not working properly again.” The complaint also read, “the Opposite Party No.1 has been nothing but ignorant, discourteous and ill-mannered towards the problems of the Complainant.The Complainant states that, ever since the Complainant started driving the said car, the Opposite Party No.1 has taken the said car more than ’10’ times solely for the purpose to carry out repairs, however, the said car still has not been repaired fully…”Furthermore, the complaint also clearly read that Rimi is “seeking compensation to the tune of Rs.50,00,00,000/- (Rupees Fifty Crores Only) for the mental harassment”. “The Complainant is seeking an additional amount of Rs.10,00,000/- (Rupees Ten Lacs only) as legal costs,” the complaint further read.When we reached out to Rimi, who was seen in Bigg Boss 9, the actress said, “I was absolutely disappointed with the car company and its services. Worst was their attitude towards their customer.” Talking about one of the incidents where her rear camera was not functional, she added, “I bumped into a pillar, but it easily could have been a human being. And no amount of money or anything could have saved someone’s life. Their negligence could have cost someone’s life. It was life-threatening. I could have easily been in a fatal accident. I have demanded 50 crores as compensation, and I absolutely deserve it for all the trauma that I endured. I hope I get justice. My lawyers, Pushpa Ganediwala & company, are looking after it.”
