BJP MLA Bishnah Dr Rajiv Bhagat on Friday said the BJP is the only party to serve the people, meet the challenges faced by Jammu and Kashmir and make it a part of the country’s growth story. This was stated by Dr Bhagat during interaction with prominent people of Kothey Sanian and Deoli after kickstarting the construction works of edge wall and toilet complex at Shamshan Ghat at Kothery Sanian and construction work Lane and drain at Deoli with an estimated cost of Rs 20 lacs. Dr Bhagat also inaugurated Cow Shed, toilet complex and boundary wall of Goushala at Rehal at an approximate cost of Rs 8 lacs .
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Rajiv Bhagat eulogized the selfless and relentless efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for laying the strong foundations of a new India with a promise and hope for inclusive development to all segments of the population. This is certainly achievable given the commitment of the people in general and the BJP workers in particular, who are carrying forward the mission of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Vikas’ with sincerity of purpose, he added.
Dr Rajiv Bhagat observed that people in this part of the country have many expectations with the BJP, which they genuinely feel alone can fulfill, given the grit, determination and resolve of the leadership. He said the Jammu region, in particular, has been craving for a level playing field and equal opportunities in development, jobs and other spheres of activity. Jammu doesn’t want to be developed at the cost of other regions or sub-regions but it aspires for every section of the society in Jammu and Kashmir to get fair deal, without any discrimination or appeasement, he added.
Dr Rajiv Bhagat said the inclusive Jammu stands testimony to its glorious ethos of inclusiveness, as it opened up its arms for all the people, irrespective of region or religion, during most testing times in the early nineties and even later. The assimilative spirit of Jammu instilled a sense of confidence and security to the people in distress. This makes every Jammuite proud, he added.
Dr Rajiv Bhagat asserted that BJP stands fully committed to address the day to day problems being faced by the people of this nation. During public interactions, people put forth their woes pertaining to basic amenities, etc before MLA seeking resolution to their issues. Most of the people highlighted issues related to the development in their respective areas besides various other concerns.MLA after giving a keen and patient hearing to the people assured to take up their issues with the concerned authorities and get the same resolved at the earliest. However he got some of the issues resolved instantaneously by talking to the authorities concerned on phone.
Dr Rajiv Bhagat said that Bharatiya Janata Party is fully committed to address the day to day problems being faced by the people in general and that of Bishnah constituency in particular.He said that the PM Narendra Modi led Govt at the Centre being fully aware of the changing trends has been taking due care of accommodating and addressing the concerns of every section of the society irrespective of the caste, creed, colour, region or religion. He asserted that BJP believes in selfless service of the people as service of the people is the service of God.
