Senior Bharatiya Janata Party leaders visited Katra to conduct the preparatory meet for forthcoming Working Committee Meeting of the party scheduled on 6th and 7th of March.
J&K BJP General Secretary & former Minister Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal along with former Minister Ajay Nanda, former MLA & Prabhari Reasi Rajeev Sharma, party Secretary Arvind Gupta, Seh-Prabhari Rohit Dubey, Katra Municipal Committee Chairman President Shashi Gupta, District President Sheel Magotra, DDC Member Nirmala Devi, Vice-President Sham Lal Pandit, District General Secretary Ranjit Singh, Mandal President Rajinder Mengi, City President Ajay Verma, Prabhat Singh, Pinki Sharma, Vijay and other party leaders participated in the preparatory meeting.
Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal was felicitated by the BJP leaders of Reasi District on the occasion upon his maiden visit to Katra after his announcement as General Secretary Incharge of the region.
Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal while addressing the meeting, threadbare discussed the schedule of all programmes to be conducted during the Working Committee Meeting including Office Bearers’ Meet. He impressed upon all the local BJP leaders to dedicate their whole time to the Working Committee Meet. He said that as the host of the meet they must be full of energy and fully charged and be ready to welcome the party leaders from every corner of Jammu & Kashmir.
Dr. Manyal also asked them to conduct regular meetings till the main working committee meeting. He said that this is not merely a regular programme of the BJP, but it marks the representation of true internal democracy of Bharatiya Janata Party, wherein all the policies and the programmes of the party are put in front of all the party leaders and discussed in detail for their implementation by the party.
Various teams were constituted under the observation of party senior leaders like registration, transportation, stage management, catering and other various things for the smooth and successful conduct of the Working Committee Meet.
