JAMMU,MAR 03:
BJP ‘Jan Sampark Yatra’ led by State President & MLA Sat Sharma, alongwith Minister for PHE, Irrigation & Flood Control Sham Choudhary, State Secretary Ch. Vikram Randhawa and District President Brijeshwar Rana, commenced from village Dewan Garh and after passing through Magowali, Dablehar, Bajechak, it concluded at Badyal Qazian in Suchetgarh block, where a massive public rally was held.
While addressing the public at Bajechak and Badyal Qazian, Sat Sharma said that the motive of taking out ‘Jan Sampark Yatra’ by the party is to contact the people of rural areas and highlight the schemes and projects of Narendra Modi government, particularly those related to the welfare of the farmers. He said that the BJP led NDA government understands that the country cannot progress and prosper if its villages do not have good means of communication, basic infrastructure for education, health services, means of irrigation, quality seeds, pesticides, fertilizers and some kind of guarantee in case of crop loss. “While stress is being laid by Modi government on proper road connectivity with rural areas, it has launched PM Fasal Bima Yojana which provides for financial assistance in case of crop failure due to natural calamities”, Sat said and added that the anti-farmer policies of previous Congress governments forced the poor farmers to commit suicides. He asked the party activists to guide and help the farmers and border people to avail the benefits of Centrally sponsored schemes launched for the welfare.
Swaran Singh Chib, Monika Sharma, Neelam Sharma, Sat Paul Pappi, Naresh Sharma, Akash Chopra, Gorav Sharma, Jasvir, Dr PP Singh, Capt. Karnial, Parveen Pinka, Ashok Choudhary, Garu Ram & Ankush Sharma also accompanied the Yatra.
