Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday asserted that the BJP has already crossed 300 seats after the end of five phases of polling in the country.
While addressing public meetings in Odisha’s Sambalpur, Keonjhar, and Parjang in Dhenkanal district, in support of party candidates,Shah said, as per our observation the BJP had already crossed 300 marks and in the next two phases of election” the 400 par target” will be achieved as the whole country wants Modi to be the Prime Minister for the third time.
Coming down heavily on the BJD government led by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, the Union Home Minister said in Odisha, also the BJP will get more than 75 Assembly seats and form a double-engine government dislodging the corrupt government run by a babus as Naveen Patnaik has outsourced the administration in the state.
Accusing Naveen Patnaik of destroying the Odia pride and culture, Shah said this time BJP will provide a hard-working Chief Minister who will protect the Odia pride and culture.
He said once the BJP government is formed in the state it would strongly act on the corrupt officers who have looted the state’s resources and send them to jail.
Shah also said the BJP government ensured that it would add value to the state’s resources by setting up a chain of industries so that the youths of the state would be employed and not a single youth would move out of the state leaving their parents for a job.
The Union Home Minister said after 25 years rule of the BJD government, 27 lakh families in the state are deprived of houses,26 lakhs households have no drinking water, 6400 villages lack

road connectivity and over 8000 schools are closed in the state.
Stating that Odisha ranked 29 in the ease of doing business, Shah said the BJP, is committed to all-round development in the state and slammed Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik for hijacking central schemes and taking the credit by pasting his photograph.
He promised that if the BJP government voted to power in the state it would implement the PESA (Provisions of the Panchayats (Extension to Scheduled Areas) Act, 1996 for the people living in the Scheduled Areas as is implemented in Madhya Pradesh.
Shah further said the Provident Fund for the Kendu leaf pluckers would be introduced within 90 days of forming the BJP government in the state.
On the missing keys of the Ratna Bhandar of Sri Jagannath temple, Shah said no one would be spared responsibility for the missing keys, and the probe commission report on the missing keys of Ratna Bhandar which has been suppressed by the BJD government for the last six years, will be made public.
He further said the inventory of the Ratna Bhandar will be made by the BJP government and its valuation will be done by the RBI,the details of which will also be made public.
The Union Home Minister also promised that within 18 months of the BJP government in the state, all Chit fund accused will be sent to jail and the money will be returned to the poor investors.
He accused the BJD government of converting the pilgrim town of Puri to a tourist point and destroying the century-old mutts and other heritage structures around the Sri Jagannath temple.
