BJP failed on part of ensuring transparency in Rafale deal: PYC

Pradesh Youth Congress (PYC), J&K, sought resignation from Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman after Congress President Rahul Gandhi exposed their involvement in the Rafale deal.
Speaking at the convention organised at Reasi, Pradesh Youth Congress, President J&K, Uday Chib said that BJP Government at the Centre has failed completely on the part of ensuring transparency in Rafale deal. That’s why government is not ready to form JPC and a probe into the matter, he said, adding “We demand that CAG should look into this matter and a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) should be appointed for the same”.
Chib exhorted upon the youth leaders to create awareness about Rafale scam and expose the deep rooted corruption which exists in the Modi-led government.
Chib alleged that the Rafale scam is worth Rs 41,205 crore. “The government has taken this money which belongs to the farmers, the common man, the poor and the businessmen of this country and has been given it to Anil Ambani’s Reliance Defence. PM Modi and Nirmala Sitharaman must take responsibility of this massive scam and resign from their respective posts.
A Joint Parliamentary Committee has to be appointed or a Supreme Court monitored enquiry has to be set up to investigate the biggest scam of the century,” he emphasised.
Chib said that the Congress has offered supreme sacrifices for the honour and dignity of the country and that the party draws its strength from the people.
He accused previous government responsible of weakening democratic institutions in the Jammu and Kashmir due to which the people have lost interest in the government. He accused both BJP-PDP of demolishing peace of the State by exploiting the regional, religious and political sentiments of the people.
Chib laid stress upon the youth leaders to expose the misdeeds of the previous government and work for strengthening the Congress Party in the State. He asked them to listen to the sufferings of the youth being faced by them due to discriminatory policies of the previous BJP Government in J&K.

Munshi Ram Salalia and Vijay Sharma Senior Congress leaders, Amit Sharma ex-President District Youth Congress, Ravinder Singh Rasyal and Sahil Singh Langeh state Secretaries PYC, Ajay Salaria Vice President District Youth Congress, Nitin Mukesh Vice President Assembly Youth Congress, Satya Parmar Mahila District President, Kaushalya Devi Congress leader and elected Panchs and Corporators from Reasi Municipality were also present in the convention.
