BJP Govt failed to promote tourism of Jammu region: Shiv Sena

Shiv Sena criticized the previous BJP government for its failure to promote tourism of Jammu region.
Briefing media persons here, Dimpy Kohli along with Manish Sahni said that the BJP during its three and half years rule in Jammu and Kashmir has been failed to develop and start any Jammu based tourism project.
He said that the people of Jammu regions have been facing discrimination for the last seventy years. He said the people of Jammu region had give massive mandate to the BJP with a view to remove the step motherly treatment which they are facing for the last so many decades.
While criticizing BJP, Kohli said that the Agenda of Alliance is nothing but an eye wash for the people and added BJP has taken the people of Jammu region for granted and has failed to recognize the developmental priorities and represent the aspirations of the people.
He said that BJP has failed to represent the sentiments and deliver the promises it made to the electorate and has been merely indulging in rhetoric to emotionally charge the people for their political interests. He said that the concern of people of the State and the entire nation is restoration of peace and normalcy by containing terrorism in Kashmir Valley and to address the current unrest which is taking toll of people, fresh recruitment and their increasing attacks, targeting security forces is a matter of great concern. He said that merely strongly worded statements would not help to control the situation on the ground.
He said BJP Government at the Centre before coming to power had promised with the people of the country that it gave befitting reply to Pakistan but after coming to power the terrorism related activities are on rise.
He said in its three and half years rule of BJP in J&K, it had been failed to control the terror activities.
Kohli made a fervent appeal to the people of Jammu and Kashmir to support Shiv Sena in the forthcoming elections so that the justice will be provided to the people of J&K.
