The campaigning for the Jammu/Poonch Parliamentary elections has reached a feverish pitch. The door to door campaigning was held today in ward no. 19 and Ward no. 15 in the Jammu East constituency under the command of its former MLA Rajesh Gupta. The party activists were seen shouting sloagans in favour of the party candidate for Jammu/Poonch constituency Jugal Kishore Sharma. Sloagans were also raised in favour of Prime Minister Narinder Bhai Modi and Bhartiya Janata Party.
The party activists were highlighting the achievement s of the Modi government in smaller groups and demanding votes from the people of Jammu East constituency in favour of the Bhartiya Janata Party candidate Jugal Kishore Sharma. Amongst the achievements of the BJP government the party activists were seen highlighting the construction of four lane highway between Jammu and Poonch, starting of the prestigious institutions like IIT and IIM and scores of other centrally sponsored schemes for the welfare of the people. The campaigning of the BJP in Jammu East looks most well planned and systematic like a well oiled machinery and none of the voters is being left un attended.
Compared to this the campaigning of the other parties and the main opposition Congress looked feeble. The enthusiasm of the BJP workers is quite palpable on the ground and they seem to be sensing victory in line with the upbeat mood of the BJP countrywide. The recent rally of the Prime Minister Narinder Bhai Modi at Village Dumi in Akhnoor has also enthused the BJP cadres and generated lot of hope and enthusiasm among the people.
Rajesh Gupta said that the recent handling of the security paradigm by our Prime Minister has found tremendous traction with the people and they now feel that we have a powerful and decisive leader at the helm of affairs who can give a befitting reply to its adversaries. This of course is in addition to the tremendous developmental orientation of the BJP government which the people of the country and in Jammu have taken a great fascination for and are in complete sync with sab ka saath sab ka vikaas.
