BJP’s unit of District Jammu West paid homage to freedom fighters Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru in a Shradhanjali program organized at District headquarters, Kachi Chawni. Former State President BJP and Ex Minister Sat Sharma (CA) along with other senior leaders paid homage to the martyrs. The program was organized under the leadership of District President Munish Khajuria.
District Seh Prabhari Shailja Gupta, BJP Publicity Secretary Ayodhya Gupta, District General Secretaries Advocate Rajesh Gupta and Advocate Karan Sharma, Mandal Presidents Raveesh Mengi and Keshav Chopra and many other leaders also paid tributes to the martyrs.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that their sacrifice would remain an inspiration for every generation of the country. Saluting their martyrdom, Sharma said that the sacrifices made by the revolutionaries in India’s freedom struggle will always inspire youth to serve selflessly towards the better interest of the nation. He said that without thinking about their lives they only thought about the welfare and freedom of India for which nation will always remain indebted to them as because of them only India is witnessing a cordial atmosphere today, he added.
Munish Khajuria also highlighted the freedom movement struggle started by the revolutionaries and said that they sacrificed themselves for us and now it is our duty as well to make collective efforts to build an India for which they dreamt about.
