BJP Leader and J&K Head Department of Information Technology Advocate Ishant Gupta along with Anil Kumar (Corporator) and Adv. Varun Gupta felicitated Harmanjot Singh for being awarded with Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar 2021 from J&K out of 32 students across India. Advocate Ishant Gupta said that Harmanjot Singh is a student of Jodhamal Public School and at his very young age of 13 years he brought laurels to J&K in the field of technology and innovation. Gupta congratulated Harman and his family members for this proud moment and said that he emerged as the youngest innovator who developed an android and iOS App named “RAKSHA” for women security and safety.
He added that PM Narendra Modi Atma nirbhar Bharat Mission is adopted by the youngsters who come forward with innovative ideas and show their talent in the field of technology, science.
Harman while interacting with Advocate Ishant Gupta said that he utilise his ideal time of lockdown, learns coding online and develop an app “Raksha” for women safety having emergency features so whenever women feels any kind of distress or they need help then by using the app they can contact their known ones, nearby police stations and moreover on just one click they can contact any emergency helpline number.
