“Jan Sampark Abhiyaan” Committee of Bharatiya Janata Party led by Member of Parliament from Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary Constituency, Jugal Kishore Sharma today met prominent social activist from the region, Sohail Kazmi, at Bhatindi, Jammu.
MP Jugal Kishore was also accompanied by other members of “Jan Sampark Abhiyaan” Committee comprising Mayor Jammu Municipal Corporation Chander Mohan Gupta, BJP State Vice-President Th. Narayan Singh and H.S. Pammi under mission to meet prominent members of civil society over abrogation of Articles 370 and 35(a).
In the course of meeting, many social issues concerning all segments of society were discussed threadbare. Many development issues were also discussed along with the emphasis on many future development projects, which need to be projected.
Jugal Kishore Sharma, admired the vision of Sohail Kazmi and supported his positive attitude towards the abrogation of Articles 370 and 35(a). He said that governments headed by different parties in the past exploited the public sentiments for their own vested interests and kept the gullible population in the dark for long. Now, after the abrogation of the Articles, people will themselves witness huge growth in the development in the region, he said and wished him good destiny to work and excel in the field of service to mankind.
Chander Mohan Gupta, expressing his views, praised Sohail Kazmi for his constructive role in the society and said that it is our collaborative effort to ensure the peace and progress in the region.
Sohail Kazmi, admired the bold decision taken by Centre government headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Amit Shah for the abrogation of Articles 370 and 35(a) from the J&K State. He said that he himself was a victim of Article 370 and 35(a) and had to pay huge amount in his entire life. He said that with the abrogation of articles, life of every person residing in the region will observe tremendous change in coming future.
