JKPCC Working President and Congress contesting candidate from Jammu-Reasi Parliamentary seat Raman Bhalla today claimed that BJP government has lost ground and in several states BJP’s seats are declining. In the entire country, the situation is turning against them. No where there is an increase in their seats. This was stated by former Minister during his visit to various places of District Samba including Panchayats Nandpur, Jarda, Dugh, Ramghar, Phakri, Saunara and Vijaypur. Prominent among those present on the occasion include Ex Minister Yashpal Kundal , District Samba President Sanjeev Sharma, Vijay Choudhary, Tirath Bhagat, Jagdish Bhatti, Mohan Singh Batti, Himmat Singh Bhatti, Santokh Singh, Tanveer Singh, Dr Mohan Lal, Makhan Singh Ram Singh, Mandeep Choudhary, Subash Singh Charak, Bhagwan Dass, Ved Raj Sharma, Rakesh Sambyal and others.
Speaking on the occasion, Bhalla exhorted the public to throw the BJP-led alliance from power, and with it, Modi’s ‘dictatorship.’ “History is witness, whenever there has been a revolution in the country, it has started from the brave land of J&K. The campaign to end the dictatorship from this country should begin from J&K,” he said, adding, he was sure of a clean sweep in J&K and ultimate victory of the I.N.D.I.A. bloc.Referring to the BJP manifesto, Bhalla said all of Modi’s ‘guarantees’ are fake. “Earlier, a guarantee was given by them that Rs 15 lakh will be deposited in every person’s account, also of giving two crore jobs every year but they never came good on those guarantees,” he said and asked the public to repose their faith in ‘Congress Guarantee.
Commenting on the tenure of the BJP govt in J&K, Bhalla said instead of asking for votes, the party should seek forgiveness of the public. “Instead of making empty speeches, the govt should look at the statistics that show the BJP turned the most prosperous state in the country, before 2014, to backward state in J&K. He criticized J&K government for increasing poverty, unemployment, and debt. He questioned the government’s performance and impact on the public, demanding accountability and justifications for the state’s issues.
Bhalla criticizes BJP for wanting to alter the Constitution and limit people’s rights. He condemned the use of religion in politics and emphasizes the importance of traditions. He lashed out at BJP for the sufferings of the people as he said Jammu region suffered the most under ten years of BJP regime. He said Dogras lost their identify & rights to land, jobs, trade and resources which are being taken over by outside people leaving locals high & dry.
Urging people to measure the loss to the coming generations who shall face very difficult times and identity crisis besides going out in search of jobs & bread and butter, Bhalla asked people to vote out BJP from centre to reverse the trend. He appealed to the people to vote for change and uproot the dictatorial regime of BJP. The peoples participation in large numbers shows the mood of the people and claimed that both Lok Sabha seats of Jammu and Udhampur will be pocketed by the Congress party with thumping majority. The people have made up their mind to bring about change at the Centre and Modi Govt. will go after elections and INDIA block will form the Govt.
Bhalla said that BJP stands exposed before the people on various fronts as the people have awakened against the divisive policies of the BJP. The Congress party has taken a lead to fight against the tyrannical regime of BJP which has amassed huge wealth through electoral bond scheme while the entire opposition is being targeted by the Modi Govt. He said that Prime Minister Modi and BJP know they are getting defeated, so indulging in such tactics but people will teach them a lesson. Bhalla hit out at the BJP for the betrayal of the people of Jammu region in every sphere as a result there has been tremendous response to Congress in both seats. He said that every section of Jammu be it youth, farmers, traders, workers, women, are hard pressed and against the policies of the BJP Govt and the failures of the local representatives to redress their grievances.
Bhalla said if Congress comes to power the salary of Anganwadi, Asha Workers to be doubled besides educated youth poor women will get one lakh per year. He said that UPA Govt had launched various policies and welfare programmes for the upliftment of poor and down trodden sections of the society and strengthened the nation by establishing peace, progress and prosperity as a result the India emerged as a strong nation. He criticized the divisive politics of BJP and certain other forces which are against pluralistic factor of this nation and said that secularism alone can maintain the unity and integrity of the Country and the Jammu and Kashmir.
Bhalla said thar BJP had come to power on the promise of providing two crore jobs annually to the youth of the country besides bringing ‘good days’ for the common people by checking price rise and inflation etc. apart from other such things like bringing black money and depositing into their accounts.
Contrary to that Modi government brought lot many miseries for the common people through huge taxations amidst unprecedented price hike and record unemployment, coupled with series of recruitment scams which have frustrated the unemployed youth.
He said that BJP Govt at the Centre had burdened the common man by way of huge taxations and record breaking unemployment and unprecedented price rise. After experiencing over 10 years full of miseries due to wrong economic policies of the BJP government, the people are so fed up, that, now, they have made up their mind to defeat BJP and bring back Congress and olden days, which were free from such economic oppressions.
