State Vice President and Prabhari Nowshera of the BJP Mahila Morcha Anu Gupta held a meeting of the Mahila Morcha Activists of the Nowshera regarding the upcoming organizational programmes.
The upcoming programmes of the Mahila Morcha are “Mahila Jodo Abhiyan” and “Sammelans”.
Anu Gupta while speaking on the occasion said women have a very primary role in shaping the society and as such it is imperative upon all the womanhood to play a pro active role in all those activities that have the potential to uplift the society and the nation at large.She added that the number of women is fifty percent of the mankind and on that count they become politically significant and have to play that role.
She said that BJP is the only party that has recognised the power of women.She added that women activists would organise a scooter rally on 19th November on the eve of the birth anniversary of Rani Lakhshmi Bai with the active participation of the women activists of the BJP.
The prominent activists of the BJP who were present on the occasion included state secretary Praveen Arora,Santosh Bhasin Distt. President Nowshera, Asha and Preeti General Secretaries, Office Secretary Swaran, Neena Sharma Distt. Seh Prabhari and Vice President Neeru.
