BJP protests against attack on Amit Shah’s roadshow in Kolkata

In honour of democracy, raising banners of “Save Democracy, Save Bengal”, Bharatiya Janata Party, Jammu & Kashmir strongly protested against the cowardly attack on party National President Amit Shah’s roadshow in Kolkata.
BJP is holding Nation-wide protests against Mamta Banerjee led government on Wednesday.
In J&K, Dharna Protest was led by BJP State General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Kaul who was also accompanied by State General Secretaries, Dr. Narinder Singh, Yudhvir Sethi and other senior party leaders along with hundreds of party workers, in which all BJP workers peacefully sat putting fingers in their mouth to give message of silent protest against the onslaught on democracy, near Statue of Maharaja Hari Singh, Tawi Bridge Jammu.
Yudhvir Sethi, while addressing during the protest, strongly objected to the dracononian laws that have imposed by Mamta Banerjee led government in West Bengal. He said that these political parties make hooliganism as their main policy to snub the voice of masses and for the purpose have maintained army of ruffians in their kitty. He said that presently there is total promotion of lawlessness by the existing state government in the state of West Bengal and the latest proof is such an attack of goons on the peaceful rally of BJP National President Amit Shah in Kolkata on Tuesday.
Sethi, said that sensing defeat in the ongoing Lok Sabha elections, and fearing the popularity of Prime Minister Narendra Modi led NDA government at the Centre, opposition is hell bent to let the Nation burn, so that they can rule according to their own whims and fancies making their riches grow every other day.
He said that BJP has also appealed to Election Commission of India to take strong action against the goonda elements, for the smooth conduct of final phase of Lok Sabha election.
Dr. Narinder Singh, in his address, said that this is an attempt to strangulate democracy in Bengal, but BJP is determined to restore people’s confidence in the temple of democracy and BJP will see to it that all the responsible be booked and dealt with iron hands. He said that the Mamta is frustrated by the BJP’s growing base in the region, which forms the basis of her panicked and ugly political moves. It is imperative to finish the crooked era of black government in the Bengal for the restoration of democracy and stability in the region.
Dr. Singh, said that the BJP strongly denounces the act in which Trinamool workers vandalised an iconic statue of 19th century reformer Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar to give rise to political unrest in the state. He termed this as the rejected party’s disturbed desire to gain political mileage. He stressed that no matter what these political parties do, the people have made up their mind to support BJP in the current as well as the future elections for the growth and prosperity in the Nation.
Mayor Chander Mohan Gupta, MLC Ashok Khajuria, Munish Sharma, Karan Singh, Arvind Gupta, Praduman Singh, Veenu Khanna, Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, Baldev Singh Billawaria, Jeet Angral, Garu Ram Bhagat, Rajwal, Prem Gupta, Rajinder Singh Chib, Veena Gupta, Shailja Gupta, Vikas Choudhary, Chand ji Bhat, Kulwant Bhatti, Jaideep Sharma, Govind Sarren, Bharat Bhushan Sharma, Adv. Hunar Gupta, Kuldeep Kandhari and others were amongst prominent BJP leaders present in Dharna protest.
