BJP State Mahila Morcha holds review meeting

Bharatiya Janata Party State Mahila Morcha held a review meeting regarding forthcoming National programmes to be carried out by State Unit of the Morcha.
Meeting was chaired by BJP State president, Mahila Morcha Rajni Sethi in which the threadbare discussions on ongoing awareness programmes on Triple Talaq and Article 370 being carried out by State Mahila Morcha.
Rajni Sethi, while addressing the meeting firstly wished health and prosperity to everyone on Ganesh Chaturthi with a message to emphasize the importance of worshipping Ganesha and after that interacted with the State team and sought first hand information about various organisational activities. Sethi also informed the State office bearers and District Presidents about the national programmes on passage of Triple Talaq Bill and also that Under the series of BJP’s Jan Jagran Abhiyan and Sampark Abhiyan on Article 370 begin from September 1, the J& K State Mahila Morcha is going to create awareness about the Narender Modi Government ‘s decision to abrogate J&K’s special status under Article 370 of the Constitution. The programmes will be held on September 9 on passage of Triple Talaq Bill in District Jammu & on 10 September, 2019 on abrogation of Article 370 in District Akhnoor respectively.
Rajni Sethi asked all Mahila State office bearers and District Presidents to work hard to make these programmes a success. She added that the Mahila team will reach to all districts in creating awareness among the masses on the matter and will hold meetings at State and District levels.
Proceedings of the meeting were conducted by General Secretary Sanjita Dogra and Vote of thanks presented by General Secretary Updesh Andotra.
Prominent among those attended the review meeting were State vice presidents, Kamla Gupta, Kunti Jasrotia, Anju Dogra, Neena Gupta State general secretary Shailza Gupta, State secretaries, Parveen Arora, Poonam Sharma, Neha Mahajan, Taro Devi, State Office Secretary Neeru Anand, Geetanjali Mahajan, State Media Secretary Prerna Nanda, State Addl. Social Media Secretary Anuradha Sharma, District Presidents Rekha Mahajan, Parveen Lata, Mita Sharma, Vaishno Devi, Veena Gupta, Indurekha and Executive Members Raj Rani, Suman Raina, Raj Handa, Darshana Devi, Kusam Gupta and Inderjeet Kaur.
