A Women Wing workers meeting was held at New Plot, Jammu East Constituency the other day as part of election campaigning. The meeting was organized to support Yogesh Sawhney alliance candidate of Jammu East Constituency. Yogesh Sawhney also participated and addressed the workers.
Addressing the gathering Mrs Bimla Luthra said that the people of Jammu and Kashmir have endured a decade of hardships under BJP’s “Acche Din” slogan, which he claims has remained unfulfilled. “The people of J&K are frustrated and continue to suffer due to the hollow policies of the BJP. In the past 10 years, they have been victims of recruitment scams, inflation, unemployment, inflated power bills, seeing no future for Youth in Jammu and Kashmir.
Luthra mentioned that the NC is committed to raise old age pensions from Rs 1000 to Rs 3000,increase financial assistance for girls marriages to Rs 75,000 from 50,000 of EWS, provide 12 LPG cylinders per family per year of EWS, and Provide One lakh jobs for the youths of Jammu and Kashmir, Provide 5000 Pm to elderly Female member of each household of EWS, Provide free 200 units power, free drinking water, Provide free travel of females in govt transport, legalize MSP for farmers and Provide 10 Kg rise per person per month free of cost. She emphasized that the party will continue to focus on improving the quality of life for every citizen and introduce more welfare schemes aimed at uplifting the marginalized sections of society.
Bimla Luthra appealed to the women of East constituency to come out to vote and support of the Congress-NC Alliance candidate Yogesh Sawhney, stressing the importance of women’s involvement in shaping the future of Jammu & Kashmir.
In his address, Yogesh Sawhney alliance Candidate for Jammu East Constituency said that the BJP has betrayed the people of Jammu and Kashmir over the last 10 years, failing to fulfill its promises and leaving the region in a state of neglect. The BJP’s hollow policies have only deepened the challenges faced by the common people, leading to widespread frustration and disillusionment.
Sawhney urged the people of Jammu East Constituency to support and vote in favour of Congress so that the mission to restore the dignity and prosperity of Jammu and Kashmir.
