BJP will not stop helping people till corona is around: Sat Sharma

Senior BJP leader and former Minister Sat Sharma on Friday said that his party will not stop helping people until the clouds of corona crisis are hovering over the UT.
He said this during his visit to SMGS Hospital where Yudhvir Sethi Vice President BJP J&K along with party activists is camping to distribute free meals to people affected by the corona scourge for the past over 20 days.
Appreciating the endeavour of Yudhvir Sethi, Sat Sharma said that BJP has proved time and again that it is not only a political party but a movement which campaigns and works with missionary zeal to provide succor to the needy as and when time demands. He asked the people to rest assured that BJP will stand shoulder to shoulder with them during this crisis or in other situations akin to this one.
The former minister said that BJP is a work force with a difference and unlike other political parties it never takes decisions taking into account the vote bank politics. He said that BJP is a flock of nationalists people having urge to serve the nation in their body, mind and soul, and therefore people of the J&K UT need not to worry about such relief work as BJP will do this readily for them.
Speaking on the occasion, Yudhvir Sethi said that party activists are strictly maintaining all the protocols and SOPs meant for safety from corona disease. He said that free meals shall be offered to those in need till the last case of the coronavirus will be treated and all the patients return to their homes and hearths hale and hearty.
Sethi informed that till date more than 10,000 food packets have been disbursed among the COVID-hit population in three hospitals of the Temple City. “These hospitals include GMC, Jammu, SMGS Shalamar and SSH Bakshi Nagar”, he said adding that this situation will soon be over but the political parties which have gone underground during the hour of need will not be able face the people when things will become normal. He also asked the people to join hands with authorities to provide succor to the needy people in their localities so that no one sleeps hungry or deprived.
Among others who were present included Ashu Mahajan Convenor transport cell, ho able Corporater Anil Kumar Roshan Sharma, Ajit Jogi i and many party workers.
