To celebrates International Day of Families & to promote the Traditional culture of J&K , Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan performed its 425th commence with sharing best wishes with the students , tecahers & their families on social media and personal, presented its Friday Series Musical Play “Nasha Nai Karna ” today in collaboration with Sangam Tru Art Production, Ministry of Culture , Government of India, Social Welfare Deptt. J&K Govt. at Evergreen Hr. Sec school, Lower Roop Nagar, Muthi, Jammu, to continuous this Special Awareness Campaign of Nasha Mukat Bharat Abhiyan in our J&KUT. The musical play was written and Directed by Dr.M.L.Dogra , renowned writer and director. A pledge was also administered by Chahat Chadha to more than 350 students / teachers and the certificate by the Ministry of Social Justice was presented to the Principal of the Host School. The program was inaugurated by Chief Guest Mr. Subash Singh , Principal cum Chairman , Evergreen Hr. Sec School, Lower Roop Nagar, Muthi, Jammu. Among the Guest of Honors were Kanveer Singh Chib & Seerat Sharma, Senior Teachers of host school . The Programe was commenced with the songs were ” Nasha Na Karna – Man Lo Kehna “, “Mil Jul ke rehna Sikho “, ” Milker kaho hum ek hai “, ” Chanti timru Di ” & the music of the Play, composed by renowned music teacher Mr.Raju Bajgal. The Chief Guest Mr. Subash Singh, said in his speech it’s a day to recognise how important families are in our society. The United Nations decided on this day in 1994 to help people understand why families matter, what struggles they might have, and to encourage people to come together. This year 15th May , 2024, marks the 30th anniversary of this special day & the Nasha Mukat Bharat Abhiyan was launched by Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment which is the Nodal Ministry for Drug Demand Reduction has formulated and identified as most vulnerable in terms of usage of drugs in the country. The program was also recorded & uploaded online on Social Media for benefit of the peoples. Welcome speech was given by Dr. M.L.Dogra, Chairman, Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan said This special day carries along a specific theme, which varies every year., the theme for this year special occasion is ‘Embracing Diversity, Strengthening Families’, which will be all about embracing the family practices of different communities and making the bond between family members even stronger.
