To celebrates the “WORLD EARTH DAY 2024” & to promote the Traditional culture of J&K , Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan performed 418th Regular Series Dogri Musical Play “Meri Mati Mera Desh ” today in collaboration with Sangam Tru Art Production, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment , Government of India, Social Welfare Deptt. J&K Govt. at Heaven Kingdom High School- Heaven Angels ‘a Play Way School’, Janki Vihar, Janipur Jammu. The musical play was written and Directed by Dr. M.L.Dogra , Renowned Writer and Director. A pledge was also administered by Mrs.Usha Raina,Troupe Leader to more than 250 students / teachers and the certificate by the Ministry of Social Justice was presented to the Principal of the Host School. The program was inaugurated by Chief Guest Mrs. Renu Sachdev , Principal, Heaven Kingdom High School, Janki Vihar, Janipur Jammu. Among the Guest of Honors were Radhika Wali, Vinay Gupta , Rajni Sharma, Anupama Ji , Senior Teachers of host school . The Programe was commenced with the songs were ” Sara duggar desh Mahan”, “Chatni Timru Di” , ” Khand Mithe Log Dogre “, ” Meri Mati Mera Desh ” , “Nasha Na Karna Maan Lo Kehna” , “Kali Mata Bawe Basdi” & the music of the Play, composed by renowned music teacher Raju Bajgal. The Chief Guest Mrs.Renu , highlighted Each year, Earth Day has a specific theme to focus global attention on pressing environmental issues. The theme for Earth Day 2024 is “Planet vs. Plastics .” This theme emphasizes the need for collective action to repair and heal the planet’s ecosystems, combat climate change, and preserve biodiversity we all us celebrated annually on April 22, this significant day engages around one billion people worldwide in activities aimed at addressing the climate crisis and fostering behavioral change to protect the environment & also said in his speech the Nasha Mukat Bharat Abhiyan was launched by Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment which is the Nodal Ministry for Drug Demand Reduction has formulated and identified as most vulnerable in terms of usage of drugs in the country. These vulnerable districts were identified on the basis of findings from the Comprehensive National Survey and the inputs provided by the Narcotics Control Bureau and appreciate the efforts of the BLSKS , organizers in making such awareness programmes colorful and effective on the theme. The program was also recorded & uploaded online on Social Media for benefit of the peoples. Welcome speech was given by Dr. M.L.Dogra, Chairman, Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan said drugs withdrawal symptoms are a combination of physical and mental side effects a person experiences while trying to either stop or reduce the use of the substance they have been using or are addicted to. These are usually unpleasant experiences which make it difficult to reduce or quit the substance. Some of the common withdrawal symptoms are nausea, vomiting, restlessness, tremors, disturbance in mood (irritability, depression, anxiety), lack of sleep, body pains, craving for the substance, running nose etc. Withdrawal symptoms can vary from person to person. The intensity and duration of the withdrawal symptoms depends on many factors like the genetic/biological makeup of the person, the type and time of drug abused, the age and psychological characteristics of the person. With the right medical support, it becomes much easier to deal with the withdrawal symptoms and there is a high hope for success in quitting the substance and also said our significant goals are Promoting widespread public awareness of the damage done by plastic to humans, animals, and all biodiversity’s health and demanding more research be conducted on its health implications, including the release of any information regarding its effects to the public, Rapidly phasing out all single-use plastics by 2030 and achieving this phase-out commitment in the United Nations Treaty on Plastic Pollution in 2024, Demanding policies ending the scourge of fast fashion and the vast amount of plastic it produces and uses, and Investing in innovative technologies and materials to build a plastic-free world.
Mr.Mahesh Chander Kotwal, General Secty BLSKS , while speaking on the occasion, talked about the importance of Earth and said Blsks presenting more than 200 cultural programe every year for promotion of the Dogra’s culture. The singers , musician , actors and students of music and computer institute who performed in the musical play were Usha Raina, Raju Bajgal , Bindia Okheda, Chahat Chadha, Vandana Gupta, Rahul Kumar and many others presented the enthralled performance at last of the programe Master Deepak Kumar presented vote of thanks for successful conduction of the program.
