To celebrate the “World Music Day 2024 ” &”10th International Yoga Day” & to promote the Duggar Traditional Culture of J&K, “in coordination with Sangam Tru Art production today presented436thFriday Musical Concert ,”Rangila Duggar” at open air theatre Durga Bhawan ,Janipur, with sole aim of rejuvenating the traditional , Primitive Folk, Art, Culture of J&K Region in particular and Indian nation in general awareness items. Specially prepared on the theme of Women status, National Integration and World peace. The program was inaugurated byDr. Tara Singh Charak ,Former Deputy Director, Health Department J&K Government, Sh. V.K.Magotra, Regional Director , Directorate of Field Publicity, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting Government of India and, R.P.Amla , Event Director ,Mukesh Singh, Media Person, were Guest of Honors. The Folk Songs and Skits specially produced on the theme were presentedand music was assisted by Sh.RajuBajgal, Music Instructor Blsks. The Chief Guest said this year marks the 10thInternational Day of Yoga with the theme “Yoga for Self and Society.” Yoga, a transformative practice, represents the harmony of mind and body, the balance between thought and action, and the unity of restraint and fulfillment. Earlier in his welcome speech of Dr.M.L.Dogra, Chairman, Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan highlighted the importance of the World Music Day, is an annual music festival taking place on June 21, the first day of summer in cities around the world. Music is often used as a therapy for its soothing power. It is a matter of immense joy to see the world embracing yoga in a big way. Yoga will herald in anew “Yuga” of peace , compassion and brotherhood. Welcoming the dignitaries Miss Rajni Gupta, Troupe Incharge BLSKS, explained aims & objectives of the programme which have been assigned to the sansthan for betterment of society in his key note address, highlighted the various aspects of play for mass awareness. The singers ,musician ,actors and students of music and computer institute who performed in the musical play were Usha Raina, Rajni Gupta, Raju Bajgal , K.K.Joshi, Bindia Okheda, Chahat Chadha, Sanjeev Kumar Sodhi,Rahul Kumar, Naiya meenia, Renu Bala and many others presented enthralled performances. At last of the programe Master Deepak Kumar presented vote of thanks for successful conduction of the program.
