BLSKS concluded one week special campaign on “Drug Abuse”

JAMMU, MAY 31:
To promote the traditional culture of J&K & to aware the ill effects of Tabacoo , Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan was organized one week special campaign on Drug Abuse concluded today on “World No Tobacco Day” & presented Musical Play “Nashe Kola Bacho” on in close coordination with Sangam Tru Art Production & National college of computer education Janipur at open air theatre Durga Bhawan Janipur, Jammu to promote most effective measures to protect the masses especially the vulnerable population i.e. adolescents from getting exploited by the menace of drug addiction and enable them to adopt safe and rational use of drugs by way of generating awareness through effective information and communication technologies.
The play was written, produced and directed by Sh.M.L.Dogra, renowned writer and musical play director.
The theme of World No Tobacco Day this year is “Tobacco and Heart Disease”. During the campaign 7 programe were presented at villages Sohal, Pargwal, Jourian ,Batada , Shalle, of the Jammu District on the theme. The singers, musician, actors and students of music and computer institute who performed in the musical play were Raju Bajgal, Rajni Gupta, Tilak Raj ( Karnal), Renu Saproo, Dhruv Pandit, Bindiya Arora , Kuldeep Raj, Deevam Jandiyal, Vansh Raina, Megha Raina, Bhumika chib, Neelam Chib, Sparsh Sharma, Rakshit Sharma, Ujwal Sharma, Maitali, Uttam Singh , Mitali, Bindia Arora, Renu Saproo , and many others presented the enthralled performance at last of the programe Master Deepak Kumar presented vote of thanks for successful conduction of the program.
