Jammu, Mar 21 : To promote the traditional culture of J&K, Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sangeet launches door to door awareness campaign on “ Janta Curfew”, appealed (Bharat ke Naam Sandesh) by Shri Narinder Modi, Prime Minister of India, presented 305th Saturday series musical play “Corona ek War hai ” to aware the masses in close coordination with Sangam Tru Art Production at Durga Bhawan , shant Nagar ( near Jhugi Jompdi) & Pamposh Colony, Janipur Jammu . Sh. M.C.Kotwal, General secretary BLSKS, highlighted the importance of Physical health of human being and prevention from Coronavirus disease. If you have a fever, cough and difficulty breathing, seek medical attention and call in advance. Follow the directions of your local health authority. Regularly and thoroughly clean your hands with an alcohol-based hand rub or wash them with soap and water. Make sure you, and the people around you, follow good respiratory hygiene. This means covering your mouth and nose with your bent elbow or tissue when you cough or sneeze.Then dispose of the used tissue immediately and also stressed upon the artistes to remain informed about the prevention measures play a protective role in the campaign by educating people door to Door in the respected areas about the virus and about “Janta curfew”. BLSKS in creating awareness on the subject by staging awareness colorful cultural programs comprising of skits / dances / songs etc on the theme & also urged the artists /cultural organizations to contribute in enriching of the cultural heritage of the country and inspiring the younger generation to follow the foot prints of their elders in preserving the composite culture of the Nation .
Earlier in his speech of Sh.M.L.Dogra, Chairman, Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan, appealed the people to make “Janta curfew” , a success by observing it in letter and spirit on mark 22nd march 2020 between 7am to 9pm , during while people shall stay at home . Janta curfew shall in a way , be a litmus test for people to see how prepared India to fight of the global pandemic . Dogra also appealed to people to file home quarantine for14 days maintained distance from co-inhabitants and stay away from elderly people ,pregnant people and children, respiratory and hand hygiene wear face mask , if you developed symptoms or you are caring for a suspect /confirmed covid-19 case and sharing household items and avoid visitors at home and parties.
