To promote the Traditional folk culture of J&K , Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan mount special fortnight campaign on “Poshan Abhiyan” & performed it’s 298th regular Saturday series musical play “POSHAN SE ROSHAN” today in collaboration with Sangam Tru Art Production & National College of Computer Education at open air theatre Durga Bhawan , Disco More Janipur Jammu.
The Musical play was written, produced and directed by Sh.M.L.Dogra , former Regional Director , Song and Drama Division Ministry of Information and Broadcasting , Government of India. The Program was inaugurated by Chief Guest Ved Singh Thakur, AEE , Designs, Inspections & Quality Control, Jammu, J&K Government. Among the Guest of Honors were Sh.V.K.Magotra, Former Regional Director, of Directorate of Field Publicity, Government of India, J.K.Koul (Bezan), Chief Patron J&K Bhoomi Human Welfare Society ,Dr.Tara Singh Charak, former deputy director , health department J&K, Dr.Anju Dogra, Health Department, J&k Government. The artist & students of BLSKS sung different songs & dances were presented .The the songs sung were ” HAR BACHE KA HO POSHAN AUR GHAR GHAR HO ROSHAN”,”AYO SAB MIL KAR SHAPTH UTHAYE JACHA-BACHA KO SAWASTH BANAYEN”,”JANO JANO JANO MADO POSHAN YOJANA JANO”, special skits prepared on the occasion & the music was composed by Sh.Raju Bajgal, Music Instructor BLSKS.The programe was highly appreciated by the audience.
Earlier welcome address of Sh.M.L.Dogra, Chairman, BLSKS said that Poshan Abhiyan was launched by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. It targets to reduce level of stunting, under-nutrition, anaemia (among young children, women and adolescent girls), low birth rate and other related problems by ensuring convergence of various nutrition related schemes & Setting-up Nutrition Resource Centres, involving masses through Jan Andolan for their participation on nutrition through various activities, among the people. For implementation of POSHAN Abhiyaan BLSks mounted programe on the following main component i.e-Inter-sectoral convergence for better service delivery, Use of technology (ICT) for real time growth monitoring and tracking of women and children, Intensified health and nutrition services & Dogra also announced during the month Feb , 14 awareness programs on the theme like Poshan Abhiyan & Swatch Bharat will be presented by the Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan & Sangam Tru Art Production in far flung area of Blocks Bishnah, R.S.Pura, Akhnoor, Marh, & Dansal of Jammu District during the month.
Sh.V.K.Magotra, MD , BLSKS informed to the media the Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan presented every year more than 200 Musical Plays cum awareness Cultural Shows to promote the culture of India and awareness programs on Prevention of Aids ,Water Sanitation, National Integration ,Rural Development, Drug Abuse, Cleanliness and Save the girl Child.
The singers , musician , actors and students of music and computer institute who performed in the musical play were Kuldeep Raj Sangral, Sanjeev Kumar Sodhi, Chahat Chadha, Mukesh Singh Rajput, Mahi, Dhruv, Rakshit Sharma, Ujwal Sharma, Sudesh Manhas, Bhoomika Chib , Sakshi kumari, Sapna Devi, Kanchan , Rishab, and many others presented the enthralled performance at last of the programe Master Deepak Kumar presented vote of thanks for successful conduction of the program.
