To promote the Traditional folk culture of J&K , Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan performed its 246th Saturday series musical play POSHAN SE ROSHAN today in collaboration with Sangam Tru Art Production & National College of Computer Education at open air theatre Durga Bhawan , Disco More Janipur Jammu on the theme of “POSHAN ABHIYAN . The Musical play was written, produced and directed by Sh.M.L.Dogra , former Regional Director , Song and Drama Division Ministry of Information and Broadcasting , Government of India. The artist & students of bhartiya lok sangeet kala santhan sung different patriotic songs & dances were presented .The Lyrics of the songs sung were HAR BACHE KA HO POSHAN AUR GHAR GHAR HO ROSHAN, AYO SAB MIL KAR SHAPTH UTHAYE JACHA BACHA KO SAWASTH BANAYEN, JANO JANO JANO MADO POSHAN YOJANA JANO , special skits prepared on the occasion. The Program was inaugurated by Chief Guest J.K.Koul (Bezan), Chief Patron J&K Bhoomi Human Welfare Society ,. Among the Guest of Honors were Sh.V.K.Magotra Former Regional Director, of Directorate of Field Publicity, Government of India, Dr.Tara Singh Charak, former deputy director , health department J&K, Dr. Anju Dogra, Health Department, J&k Government.
Earlier welcome address of Sh.M.L.Dogra, Chairman, BLSKS said that Poshan Abhiyan was launched by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi in Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan in March 2018. It targets to reduce level of stunting, under-nutrition, anaemia (among young children, women and adolescent girls), low birth rate and other related problems by ensuring convergence of various nutrition related schemes & Setting-up Nutrition Resource Centres, involving masses through Jan Andolan for their participation on nutrition through various activities, among the people & Sh. Dogra also announced 30 awareness programs on various theme like Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Khelo India, Poshan Abhiyan & Swatch Bharat will be presented by the Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan & Sangam Tru Art Production in far flung area of Jammu, Kistwar, Poonch, Kathua, & udhumpur district during the month February / March 2019.
Sh.M.C.Kotwal , Gen Secty. , BLSKS informed to the media the Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan presented every year more than 200 Musical Plays cum awareness Cultural Shows to promote the culture of India and awareness programs on Prevention of Aids ,Water Sanitation , National Integration ,Rural Development, Drug Abuse, Cleanliness and Save the girl Child. The singers , musician , actors and students of music and computer institute who performed in the musical play were M.C.Kotwal, J.K.Koul (Bezan), Rajni Gupta, Kuldeep Raj Sangral, Sanjeev Kumar Sodhi, Mohd. Afroz , Chahat Chadha, Mukesh Kumar, Darshan Rajwal, and many others presented the enthralled performance at last of the programe Master Deepak Kumar presented vote of thanks for successful conduction of the program.
