To celebrate the 96th birth anniversary of Atal Bihari Vajpayee & to promote the traditional culture of J&K, The Artists of Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan paid floral tribute to Late Former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee in coordination with Sangam Tru Art Production & JK Bhoomi Human Welfare Society, presented its 41th Friday Musical Concert Series “Geet naya Gata Hun” during Quarantine Time at Rehearsal Hall, Durga Bhawan Janipur, Jammu. The Program was inaugurated by the Chief Guest V.K.Magotra, former Regional Director, Directorate of Field Publicity, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India & Among the Guest of Honors present were J.K.Raina, Free Lancer – Producer Director Films, Sh.J.K.Koul, Free Lancer writer, producer director & Chief Patron of JK Bhoomi Welfare Society, Dr. Tara Singh Charak, Former Deputy Director, Health Department J&K Government. The day commemorated as well with sole aim of rejuvenating the traditional, Primitive Folk, Art, Culture of J&K Region in particular and Indian nation in general awareness items. Specially famous songs of Atal ji werecomposed on the theme were “Azadi Abhi Aduri Hai – Sapne sach hone abi baki”, “Geet Naya Gata Hu”,” Badte Jate dekho hum badte jate”, “Ayo Firse Diya Jalaye”, “Rakhi Ki shapth na puri hai”,” Ruth sakte hai magar juk nahi sakte”, were presented. The Chief Guest said, Good Governance Day in India is observed on 25 December to commemorate the birth anniversary of Atal Bihari Vajpayee, paid Tributes to beloved Atal Ji on his Punya Tithi. India will always remember his outstanding service and efforts towards our nation’s.In addition to the above specially campaign organizes in Bishanh & R.S.Pura Block was concluded today at villages Halqa Kotli Shah Doula , R.S.Pura. On the occasion the Chief Guest was Sh. Tirath Raj, Panch , Ward no 10 Mehlowal, R.S.pura & Guest of Honors Master Bahadur Singh & Sh. Harbans Lal prominent leaders were presented on the occasion .The songs were written by M.L.Dogra and music was composed by Sh.M.C.Kotwal, General Secretary, BLSKS. Welcome speech was given by Sh.M.L.Dogra, Chairman, Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan who highlighted the concert and said Sh. Atal Bihari was born on December 25, 1924 in Gwalior. His father Sh. Krishan Bihari Vajpayee was a poet, humanist, statesman, and a great leader. He got his education at Victoria College (presently known as Luxmi Bai College) in Gwalior & as a parliamentarian and particularly as Prime Minister, Atalji made innumerable contributions which paved the way for a stronger economy through bold reforms and rapid development of infrastructure. The singers, musician ,actors and students of music and computer institute who participated in the musical concert were Usha Handoo, K.K.Joshi, M.C.Kotwal, Rajni Gupta,Raju Bajgal, Kamla Devi, Bindia Arora, Sanjeev kumar Sodhi, Chahat Chadha, Jetinder Jotshi, Vijay Raina, Daizy Bazaz, Susheel Bhat , Vinay Pandita,Ramesh Pandita,Rahul Pandita, Anmol Raj, Kamal Sagar and many others presented enthralled performances. At last of the programe Master Deepak Kumar presented vote of thanks for successful conduction of the program.
