to promote the traditional culture of J&K, Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan & JK Bhoomi human Welfare Society presented program in coordination with Sangam Tru Art Production, presented it 42th Friday Musical Concert Series on the famous pomes of Renowned Writer, Producer,Actor & Director at Sanjeevani Sharda Kendra Anand Nagar, Bohri, Jammu here today. The Program was inaugurated by Lighting the traditional Lamp by Chief Guest Swami Kumar Maharaj Ji & Among the Dignities were J.K.Raina, Free Lancer – Producer Director Films, Dr. Agnishekhar eminent poet, writer, M.L. Dogra Chairman Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Sansthan. Dr. Sudhir Mahajan Senior Drama Instructor, writer, Director. Ramesh Hangloo Founder Radio Sharda and Verinder Bangroo Director IGAU, Ministry of Culture were Guest of Honour. The day commemorated as well with sole aim of rejuvenating the traditional, Primitive Folk, Art, Culture of J&K Region in particular and Indian nation in general awareness items.
The Specially items prepared on the theme “Sonth kaluk poz bahara Kur Meiyn”, “Beechas Mermenz”, “Mun kis rababs”, Nukkad, Skits, songs and dances were presented to aware the masses. The Chief Guest said, They highly acclaimed the book saying Bezaan’s Bhajans, Songs and poems are based on mysticism and have spiritual touch. Linking the poems with that of mysticism of Lal-Ded, he said they are full of philosophy and each stanza will take paragraphs to paragraphs for explanation. The day also focuses on the issues facing the minorities in the country and lauded the efforts of the organizers in making such awareness programmes colorful and effective.
An impressive musical program was also presented where in few lyrics from the book ‘Vechay Roozum’ were recited with the melodious voice of Sandeep Koul, Sumita Bhat, Usha Handoo and Anmol Raj and was very aesthetically and beautifully composed by Sandeep Koul while Rajat & Suraj accompanied on Synth and Tabla. Welcome speech was given by Sh.M.L.Dogra, Chairman, Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan who appreciated the contribution of Sh. J.K.Joul ( Bezaan) on the even of Book Release function “‘VECHAY ROOZUM’ and his participation in leading roles in musical plays like Maa Sheranwali, Doli, raja Mandlik, Kesar keyari,etc.In addition to the above program BLSKS also presented Traditional/Awareness Songs on Corona and said masks can help prevent the spread of the virus from the person wearing the mask to others. Masks alone do not protect against COVID-19, and should be combined with physical distancing and hand hygiene. To prevent the spread of COVID-19, Clean your hands often, Use soap and water, or an alcohol-based hand rub, Maintain a safe distance from anyone who is coughing or sneezing, Wear a mask when physical distancing is not possible, Don’t touch your eyes, nose or mouth, Stay home if you feel unwell. If you have a fever, cough and difficulty breathing, seek medical attention. The other participants were M.C.Kotwal, Tilak Raj, Sanjeev Sodhi, Rahul Pandita,Jetinder Josthi, Vinay Pandita, Daizy Bazaz, Pinkey Bhat, Sakshi Bhat, Shusheel Bhat , Chaht Chadha , Deepak Kumar and others.At last of the programe Vijay Raina presented vote of thanks for successful conduction of the program.
