To celebrates the National Daughters Day & to promote the Traditional Duggar Culture of J&K , Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan today presented 79th Friday Series Musical Concert ” Beti Bachao Beti Padao “, during Quarantine Time in collaboration with Sangam Tru Art production at Rehearsal Hall , Durga Bhawan , Disco More, Janipur Jammu on the theme “Ladli Beti “-Girl Child Protection. The program was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Sh.V.K.Magotra, Former Regional Director, Directorate of Field Publicity , Government of India. Dr.Anju Dogra, Health Department, J&K Government , Dr.Tara Singh Charak , Former Deputy Director , Health Department ,J&K Government , Sh.Vinod Dogra, Chief Service Engineer Excide & Sh.R.P.Amla , Event Director were the Guest of Honors. The programme was commenced with welcome song presented by the artists of BLSKS and the songs written produced and directed by Dr. M.L.Dogra , Chairman , BLSKS. The song sung by the artists like “Hum sab ki Ladli beti”, “Dhiyan gi na marro” , “Mang rahi hai beti jag mai jine ka Adhikar” , ” Baiman lok kase diya mar de”, “Sun – sun saheli meri sun, paruhn likhu yehi meri dhun” , ” Kya pier kahun apne mann ki” the music was assisted by renowned singer of J&K, Miss Rajni Gupta, Troupe Leader , BLSKS. Speaking on the occasion Chief Guest said National Daughters Day is a day to celebrate the gift to daughters. Dads and moms have different, but very special relationships with their daughters. Every parent should make their daughter feel like a princess or the little angel they are! Of course, moms and dads can spent joint family time together with the goal of celebrating what makes daughters so unique and special in a family and that is to be celebrated. This is a day to cherish our daughters and also said according to the said scheme the daughter child obtains Protection, free education & upbringing with additionally after eighteen years of age she will be permitted to acquire One Lakh Rupees and also said cultural Organizations to contribute in enriching the cultural heritage of the country and inspiring the younger generation to follow the footprints of their elders in preserving the composite culture of the Nation. The songs were also recorded and uploaded on social media to aware the masses in public interest . Welcoming the dignitaries Dr.M.L.Dogra (Chairman, BLSKS) said the National Daughters Day is celebrated every year on September 25.Sh.K.K.Joshi ,Vice Chairman, Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan said the presenting more than 200 awareness programs on the different theme through folk media & the artists/cultural Organizations to contribute in enriching the cultural heritage of the country and inspiring the younger generation to follow the footprints of their elders in preserving the composite culture of the Nation.
All the renowned artistes and students took a solemn pledge on the occasion to eradicate social evils & to foster National unity. The singers ,musician ,actors and students of music and computer institute who performed in the musical concert were K.K.Joshi, Sanjeev Sodhi, Mukesh Singh, Tilak Raj, Balvinder Kumar(Richu), Sudesh Manhas , Sudesh Kumari , Hargun Malhotra and many others presented the enthralled performance at last of the programe Master Deepak Kumar presented vote of thanks for successful conduction of the program.
