To observed the World Autistic Pride Day & to promote the traditional culture of J&K & to aware the masses , Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan presented musical program in close coordination with Sangam Tru Art Production and presented 65th Friday Musical Concert “MANSIK VIKAR” during Quarantine Time on the theme of “Inclusion in the Workplace: Challenges and Opportunities in a Post-Pandemic World ” at Rehearsal hall , Durga Bhawan Janipur, Jammu . The Program was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Dr. Tara Singh Charak, Former Deputy Director , Health Department J&K Government. Among the Guest of Honors present were Sh.V.K.Magotra, former Regional Director, Directorate of Field Publicity, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, Dr. Anju Kumari Dogra, Health Department Jammu & Sh. R.P. Amla, Assisted the Concert. The day commemorated as well with sole aim of rejuvenating the traditional , Primitive Folk, Art, Culture of J&K Region in particular and Indian nation in general awareness items. The Specially items prepared on the theme “Mansik vikar bada zaroori hai ” ” Mansik Vikar kola Bache gi Bachao tin sal dar he aida lachan aehde azmayo , ” Tandrustri hazar Niyamat Hai “, “Nai Pee Shraban”, ” Khud Jio aur Dusro ko bi jine do ” , “hum sab ko mil kar kasam ek khani hai ” , Nukkad, Skits ,Songs and Dances were presented to aware the masses. The Chief Guest Dr. Charak, said Autistic Pride recognizes the importance of pride for autistic people and its role in bringing about positive changes in the broader society. Every year, organizations from across the globe celebrate Autistic Pride Day on June 18 with a variety of events. Welcome speech was given by Sh. M.L.Dogra, Chairman, Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan who highlighted the event World Autistic Pride Day is observed every year on June 18 to raise awareness about people diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. This day gives us an opportunity to view people with autism not as disadvantaged but as equal individuals. For example, society’s attitude towards autism is often one of pity or a belief that it is a condition requiring treatment. Activists want to shift attitudes away from this and towards acceptance and the realization that autism is a difference rather than a disability. Sh.Anju Dogra in her address stressed for extracting the maximum attention of the masses especially Autistic & also said World Autistic Pride Day has been a community event and not a day for other organisations to promote themselves by stifling autistic people. It is now a global celebration that takes place predominantly online. The singers , musician ,actors and students of music and computer institute who participated in the musical concert were Rajni Gupta, M.C.kotwal, Sant dass Suraj, Chahat Chadha, Sanjeev Sodhi and many others presented enthralled performances. At last of the programe Master Deepak Kumar presented vote of thanks for successful conduction of the program.
