Bobby Deol is all set to make a comeback with the ‘Race’ franchise. The Salman Khan starrer ‘ Race 3’ has the actor in an important role. And his fans have been waiting to watch Bobby on the big screen for a long time.
An old interview of Bobby Deol (in 2001) has resurfaced online recently. In that interview, Bobby had spoken about how the press had written about him and Twinkle Khanna sun-bathing together and that her hubby Akshay Kumar had kept a check on her throughout. It was a hilarious rumour because Bobby said he never stripped in public and would never sun-bath like that. He said that he was happy to see Twinkle married to his friend Akshay Kumar.

Today, in the Flashback Friday, we came across an interesting interview of Bobby Deol from Filmfare 2001, where he spoke at length about his first co-star Twinkle Khanna from the film Barsaat.
Bobby was quoted as saying that he and Tina didn’t get along from day one. They were at each other’s throat throughout the making of ‘Barsaat’ and would fight about silly things.
He used to irritate her by talking about the morning ablutions and the importance of a clean stomach. She used to find that obnoxious. She hated it when he used abusive words, she’d get all hot and bothered. And that he loved needling her. Once, he remembered that they were shooting in Rohtang Pass near Manali. The oxygen supply was close to scarce. And she fainted. They had to pack up, and that she really gave the crew a scare
On the day of the premiere of their movie ‘Barsaat’, they travelled together in the same car. Bobby confessed that he was a nervous wreck and that he was sure that even she was but she hid it well. Throughout the car journey, they held hands.
In that old interview, Bobby reportedly said that today, he and Tina (Twinkle) laugh about the stupid things they would do in their earlier days.
