Chairman of Ikkjutt Jammu Ankur Sharma appealed to Election Commission of India to take serious note of the brazen anti-India election campaign of Farooq Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti and forthwith cancel their candidatures for the parliamentary elections from Anantnag and Srinagar Parliamentary constituencies.”
Farooq Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti have been indulging in no holds bar brazen pro-Pakistan and pro-Jihadi election campaign in recent times. How could Election Commission of India close its eyes to this serious development and choose to ignore the violation of Model Code of Conduct, subversion of Indian Constitution and the Representation of people’s Act which make it mandatory to protect and promote nation’s Sovereignty and Integrity?
ECI has consciously failed to take note of Mehbooba Mufti’s Public statements supporting banned terror organisation Jamaat E Islami; opposing arrest of Terrorist Yasin Malik of banned organisation JKLF responsible for genocide of Kashmiri Hindus and security forces in Kashmir; her oft repeated public utterances that Pakistan has also not kept its Nuclear Bombs for Eid and outrageously anti India statement, “NA SAMJHO GAY TOU MIT JAOUGE AYE HINDUSTAN WALO, TUMHARI DASTAAN TAK BHI NA HOGI DASTAANO MAIN”.
ECI has been taking suo-moto notice of many acts of candidates in the present parliamentary election which fall within the purview of violation of model code of conduct. But it has chosen to close it’s eyes and ears to the brazen anti-India campaign of both NC and PDP in Kashmir. This has helped into transforming the democratic process into a subversive process,” Ankur Sharma Said.
It is intriguing that Election Commission of India earlier ignored the pro-Pak and anti-India utterances of the NC candidate Akbar Lone from Baramulla Parliamentary Constituency, Ankur Sharma said.
“How could election campaign be allowed to operate outside the boundaries of Constitution of India” Ankur Sharma asked. ” Election Commission of India cannot allow itself to become an accomplice in transforming India into a soft and permissive State Ankur said.
“Damage to Democracy is immense when democratic process operates beyond the boundaries of Constitution. Through out the world Pan Islamic forces have used the democracy to wreck it from within. The same is being allowed to happen with impunity in Jammu and Kashmir,” Ankur opined.
We have seen Election Commission of India to take notice even of minor transgressions by the contesting candidates and parties but closing it’s eyes to an election campaign which is subversive and jeopardises National Integrity, Sovereignty and Internal Security, Ankur pointed out.
Toleration of anti-India campaign by Election Commission of India does not cover it with glory but only with a permissiveness to allow anti-democratic forces to enter into election fray so that democracy is damaged from within,” Ankur Sharma Stated.
” There is still time for Election Commission of India to intervene and stop the brazen anti-India campaign of contesting candidate Mehbooba Mufti in Anantnag Parliamentary Constituency and stop the interference of Jihadi forces in the present parliamentary elections going on in Kashmir.”
Jihadi Mehbooba Mufti and Farooq Abdullah must be banned from contesting the elections forthwith to prevent democratic process to be eaten by termites from within'” Ankur Sharma demanded.
The election of Farooq Abdullah and Mehboob Mufti need to be cancelled/countermanded all the more because even the people of Kashmir comprehensively defeated them on April 11 and April 18 when they went out to exercise their Franchise and elect M.Ps for Lok Sabha. That only 14% of the registered voters in Srinagar and 13.60% registered voters in Anantnag exercising their Right to Vote could be legitimately construed as a vote of No Confidence in these Kashmiri Leaders who have been queering the Indian Pitch in Kashmir by making pro Pakistan, Pro Separatist and Pro Jihad Statements during their election speeches. It wouldn’t be out of place to mention here that the Abdullahs and Mufti have become totally irrelevant not only in Kashmir but also in Jammu and Ladakh by not finding even a single candidate to field in any of the three Lok Sabha Constituencies which constitutes 85% of the J&K’s land area and house almost 60% of the State’s population. We urge the ECI to not ignore the serious unfolding developments in Kashmir considering the fact that J&K is not just a border state but also a very very sensitive state. To ignore the anti India rants of Abdullahs and Mufti would be only to help them promote Jihad, Jihadis and break India forces.
In the meantime, Chairman IkkJutt Jammu congratulated people of Jammu and Ladakh for rejecting outright Abdullahs and Mufti and the kind of politics they have been paying since decades.
