Anurag Sagar, the senior doctor of Noida District Hospital, says that due to sun and heatstroke, the flexibility of muscles is decreasing. This causes severe cramps and sometimes pain. This is also called muscle cramps. Due to drinking less water and dehydration in the body, bones are also drying up. Due to this people may have pain below the knees, shoulders, elbows and neck.
Heat affects bones and muscles
When the temperature outside the body becomes much higher than the temperature inside, sweating occurs. This disturbs the balance of electrolytes in the body. In such a situation, pain starts in the muscles and bones.
If you want to avoid this problem, you should drink plenty of water and other liquid diets. Avoid going out in the sun during the afternoon. Increase the amount of healthy things like fruits and vegetables in your diet.
Cases of heat stroke are on the rise
According to doctors, these days a lot of patients are coming to the hospital with heat exhaustion.
They are facing problems like fatigue, vomiting, diarrhoea, dizziness, nervousness, fainting, headache and stomach cramps. To avoid this problem, you must drink at least 3 litres of water throughout the day.
