Children are the world’s most valuable resource and its best hope for the future. And to celebrate the joyous blessings that children are and with the belief that a single day is not enough to cherish the glitter and innocence of children, 98.3 Mirchi celebrated Children’s day by organising a two-week spanning programme that goes by the name Mirchi Chillar Party. Mirchi Chillar Party being an event that 98.3 Mirchi celebrates every year by conducting various On-ground and On-air activities that involved fun activities and engagements for children of various schools. Hundreds of children from Schools all over Jammu city actively participated in the event and created a jovial atmosphere of frolic at the studios of 98.3 Mirchi. The children went on-air as Junior RJ’s and hijacked the shows of Mirchi RJ’s which include Jammu di Kudi Mirchi Shwetima’s morning show ‘Whatsup Jammu’, Teekhi Mirchi‘s after noon College campus show. Mirchi Nishant’s show wasn’t spared and the Shaam got even more Shaandaar as soon as the Children entered the studios. The kids then went on air with all the RJ’s in their respective shows and had various conversations discussing their lives at home and at school, talking about their ambitions in life. Children also took a keen interest in the various On-air games and activities that the RJ’s had in store for them. Celebrating childhood became even more fun when the kids happily and passionately displayed their talents as they sang, played and danced with the Mirchi Staff and created a beautiful atmosphere of enthusiasm, fun and frolic leaving everyone reminiscing and reliving their childhood memories. Numerous talented kids displayed their talent by solving mathematics puzzles while others went on to display their flair in Abacus and Rubik’s cubes. Kids were more than excited to participate in the activities and happily celebrate Children’s day in the Mirchi way as they got a platform to be On-air on the radio and to make the people of the city listen to their ideas of fun and happiness. 98.3 Mirchi actively kept the spirit of spreading the Children’s day celebrations and visited various schools of the Jammu city where Mirchi Shwetima, Mirchi Nikki and Mirchi Nishant interacted with the kids and engaged them in conversations, fun-filled games and interviewed the kids where they spoke their hearts out. 98.3 Mirchi’s On-ground celebrations also included multiple dance and song performances. And to set the celebration mode on the perfect track, band performances were also organised at various schools where the kids were left delighted and mesmerised.
98.3 Mirchi actively spearheaded this initiative of spreading joy and cheer amongst the kids of Jammu. Mirchi has always tried to give the people of the city experiences to remember. Be it people of any age and especially when it comes to kids, Mirchi attempted to make these young bundles of joy cherish, smile and celebrate the beautiful things in life. Mirchi always stands by the tagline which is “Mirchi sunne wale always khush” and will always work in making everyone happy.
