Shemford Futuristic School hosted an enchanting UPHAAR-2 Diwali Mela on its vibrant campus, showcasing the rich traditions associated with the festival of lights. The event was graced by Chander Prakash Ganga (Member of Legislative Assembly), Rajesh Sharma (JKAS Deputy Commission Commissioner Samba), Vinay Kumar (SSP Samba ), Bhupinder Singh Charak (Chairman SFS), Anubhuti Sharma (Dy SP cyber crime jammu ), Rekha Mahajan( District President BJP Jammu South ), Romalo Ram ( Dogri Artist ), Sars Bharti (Renowned Dugar Artist), Pragya Salhotra( Social Media lnfluencer), Sahrish Ismaily (Principal SFS) and Sushma Choudhary (Headmistress SFS).
Saras Bharti, a celebrated Dogri artist mesmerized the audience with a captivating performance of her soulful Dogri songs. With her enchanting voice and energetic stage presence, she transported the crowd to the vibrant cultural landscape of Jammu and Kashmir. Her renditions of traditional Dogri folk melodies resonated deeply with the audience, evoking emotions and applause throughout the evening. The festivities were further enlivened by the enthusiastic participation of the school’s students, who showcased their talents through a series of captivating dance performances and melodious songs.In addition to the performances, the Mela featured various stalls offering an eclectic mix of shopping options and delectable food, creating a lively marketplace that added to the festive spirit. As a gesture of appreciation, the dignitaries of the school extended their heartfelt felicitations to the esteemed guests, acknowledging their presence and contributions to the event.
