Bollywood bombshell Katrina Kaif has come a long way ever since making a debut in Amitabh Bachchan starrer ‘Boom’. The model turned actress has delivered a record number of hit films at the box office in the past fifteen years.
At an event recently, Katrina had said that she may think about writing a book about her journey. According to reports, Katrina has given her nod to a publication house for her memoir. The memoir is tentatively titled ‘Barbie Dreams’ reportedly as Katrina is the only Indian personality to have a barbie doll modelled on her.
Also, the story is reportedly pitched as a motivational one and anything about her personal life won’t be a part of the book. The book will heavily be based upon her childhood and about traveling to different countries while growing up.The actor-director jodi of Aditya Roy Kapur and Mohit Suri was all set to return with yet another romantic love story after ‘Aashiqui 2’, but it seems the dream may be far from flourishing. It was recently reported that Kriti Sanon who had given her verbal nod for the project turned it down for ‘Housefull 4’ while Sanya Malhotra of ‘Dangal’ fame was roped in for the film. However, now the latest reports suggest that Aditya has had a fallout with Mohit on learning that the film will actually be a love triangle and Sunny Singh of ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’ fame is being roped in to play the second male lead. And if the rumours are true, he has also walked out of the project again leaving the casting for the film in jeopardy.
Ex-flames Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone recently hit headlines after reports of them walking the ramp together at an upcoming fashion show made rounds. While Ranbir-Dippy fans are overjoyed to the couple come together for a project, the latest development is that the fans might have to wait a little longer for that.
According to reports, Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor will take some more time to walk the ramp as the show has been postponed by about a week owing to their illness. Both of them have fallen ill ahead of the event which was scheduled to take place on April 9.
The two celebs will be walking for designer Manish Malhotra at the event hosted by actress Shabana Azmi as the dream of her father Kaifi Azmi. The organization looks into the welfare of the girl child. The verdict in the blackbuck poaching case involving Salman Khan is reported to be announced on April 5. The case also involves the cast of ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’ (1999)- Tabu, Saif Ali Khan, and Sonali Bendre. The accused celebs are currently in Rajasthan for the judgment of the 1998 case.
According to reports, Tabu dealt with an astounding moment when someone harassed her soon after she stepped out of the Jodhpur airport. Reportedly, despite being safeguarded by bouncers, a manic fan managed to get close to the ‘Drishyam’ actor and misbehaved with her. Although the intruder was pushed away, the unpleasant incident left Tabu in shock. However, as per reports, no complaint regarding the matter has been filed.
Meanwhile, Salman is expected to leave for Jodhpur today. He has reportedly wrapped up the schedule in Abu Dhabi for his upcoming movie ‘Race 3’. Priyanka Chopra has carved a niche for herself in Hollywood with a television show and three films under her belt. Now it looks like the desi-girl is more inclined towards ending her Bollywood hiatus. If online reports are anything to go by, then the global star is reportedly quitting her American television series ‘Quantico’ for her next Bollywood flick.
Reports even suggest that the film would be Salman Khan starrer ‘Bharat’ which is being helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar, who also happens to be Priyanka’s good friend. Ali, on his recent trip to New York allegedly even discussed the script with the ‘Baywatch’ beauty.
Priyanka and Salman have already done three films namely ‘Salaam-e-Ishq: A Tribute to Love’, ‘God Tussi Great Ho’ and ‘Mujhse Shaadi Karogi’ and if she does sign the dotted line, this would be their fourth film together.
