Primarily, only except Shweta Bachchan Nanda, everyone in the Bachchan family has been on-screen. But looks like this isn’t true anymore! Amitabh Bachchan’s daughter Shweta has finally made her acting debut through an ad, where she has shared screen space with none other than Amitabh himself.
The said ad is likely to go on air very soon. As per reports, it’s a jewellery ad that features the two. It reportedly is believed to be pragmatic and grounded.
Meanwhile, the picture of the father-daughter duo from the sets has been doing the rounds. Both of them can be seen on their toes yet very comforting. The detail about the durations and plot of the ad is however still under wraps.
Moreover, it’s not just a phase where Shweta is making her debut; the legend’s daughter is also geared up to launch her first book, ‘Paradise Towers’. Earlier in a press meet, Shweta said in a statement, “The idea for ‘Paradise Towers’ came to me one morning on waking up. This is not unnatural for me. I come from a family of storytellers. As children, we were encouraged to write and read and our imaginations were given a free reign.”
Sushant Singh Rajput has been one of the few Bollywood actors who have been quite active on social media. The ‘Raabta’ actor has frequently shared his shirtless pictures to his self-portraits with”self-musing” captions. However, if you land up on his Instagram handle, you will be surprised to find nothing of the sorts.
The actor has apparently cleaned up his page with barely 11 pictures left on his page. And that too is mainly dedicated to his new venture “Innsaei”. Now what has led Sushant to go for this sudden change is something to wonder!
And it’s just not his Instagram page, but the scenario is same with his Twitter account as well. One can’t find his constant philosophical and scientific tweets anymore on the micro-blogging site. The actor’s latest post on his social media reveals that he is ambidextrous – or at least he is practising to become one.
If we look back at another such instance, then in 2017, renowned pop star Taylor Swift had revamped her Instagram account too. According to varied reports, it was Taylor’s way to protest the alleged data leak by social media moguls. However, it later came to light that she evidently chose to do to it since she planned to announce her revamped persona for her new single, “Look what you made me do.”
But considering Sushant’s similar move, it’s still a mystery as to what has Sushant got on his mind!
On the work front, Sushant has an upcoming movie project revolving around a dacoit drama alongside Bhumi Pednekar. Moreover, he also has a space-adventure ‘Chanda Mama Door Ke’ and the intended franchise by Dharma Productions, titled ‘Drive’ in his kitty. And that’s not it, Sushant’s much-awaited film ‘Kedarnath’ is scheduled to release in November, this year. Meanwhile, the actor has also committed his dates in the month of June for the remake of ‘The Fault in Our Stars’.
