Priyanka Chopra is not just a Bollywood celebrity but has become an international sensation now. The actress has lately been in news for her rumoured link up with singer and Hollywood actor Nick Jonas. And her recent dinner outing with him has just added fuel to the fire.
However, a few months back, her mother Madhu Chopra had reportedly said that she can’t imagine her daughter with a foreigner. She had apparently added that it would be easy to adapt if both sides belong to the same culture.
According to the latest report, after the rumours about the same doing the rounds of the town again, her mom said that she would like to repeat what she said earlier. And she added that these are all useless gossips.
Well, while no one knows the truth, there is certainly no smoke without fire.
Casting director Honey Trehan is all set to team up with Nawazuddin Siddiqui for a crime drama. The leading lady of the film is not yet finalised. According to a report by a tabloid Honey Trehan had approached Taapsee Pannu for the same but she refused to be part of the project.
A source revealed to a tabloid that Honey and Taapsee were in talks for a murder mystery, but the actress didn’t like the project. The source further revealed that Taapsee was not keen on being paired opposite Nawazuddin in the film and hence she said no to the film. Earlier there were reports that Honey Trehan would be making his directorial debut with a gangster flick tentatively titled ‘Sapna Didi’ starring Deepika Padukone and Irrfan Khan in the lead. Vishal Bhardwaj was even going to produce the film but later the two had a major fallout, post which Vishal decided to direct the film himself.
On the work front, Nawazuddin is currently busy shooting for his upcoming film ‘Thackeray’ where he portrays the character of the iconic political leader Balasaheb Thackeray. Directed by Abhijit Panse the biopic is slated to hit the screens on January 23, 2019. Kartik Aaryan might be comparatively new to the Bollywood industry, but his cute looks and his fabulous acting has fetched him immense fan following. After basking on the huge success of his last outing ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’ which even entered the 100-crore club, Kartik Aaryan has been reportedly carefully looking and choosing scripts for his upcoming projects. Recent reports stated that the actor had hiked up his fee for the third installment of ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’, followed by an apparent fallout between him and filmmaker Luv Ranjan. Media reports had claimed that Kartik apparently asked for Rs. 3 crore as remuneration for the third installment of ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’.
However, speaking to a news agency, Kartik revealed that there hasn’t been any discussion between him and Luv Ranjan about money. So, he isn’t quite sure of the source of these speculations. He added that they both started their respective careers together so there hasn’t been discussion about money and it will never be in the future as well. He also went on to clarify that there is nothing wrong between me and the filmmaker and still continue to share a warm rapport like before with each other.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Goliyon Ki Raas Leela: Ram Leela’ starring Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh was a huge hit at the box office. The film is known for the chemistry between both the lead stars. Interestingly, Ranveer and Deepika even fell in love on the sets of the film.
But now according to the recent reports, Priyanka Chopra was earlier going to play Deepika’s role in the film. As per a renowned journalist’s new book ‘Priyanka Chopra: The Dark Horse’, after Kareena Kapoor Khan, Priyanka Chopra had agreed to play the female lead in the film. However, SLB replaced Priyanka with Deepika Padukone at the last minute. Sanjay Leela Bhansali made this decision as he thought Deepika would suit the role and hence signed Deepika instead.
