Financial Commissioner, Health and Medical Education, Atal Dulloo today reviewed works being undertaken under Prime Minister’s Development Programme (PMDP) in health sector in Jammu and Kashmir. completed within the set deadline. He said that the projects being undertaken at District hospitals of Anantnag, Baramulla, Shopian, Reasi, Kishtwar, Kulgam, Ganderbal, Sub-district hospital, Sopore for launching of DNB courses should be given top priority and completed shortly. The meeting was informed that against the sanctioned allocation of Rs 900 crore, Rs 836.64 crore have been released by the Central Government. The meeting was informed that out of total 144 ongoing and new health projects approved under this financial assistance programme, 48 projects have been completed and are made functional shortly while rest of 96 projects have been targeted for completion during the current financial year, 2019-20 and next financial year 2020-21.
