JAMMU, MAY 22:
More than 300 students of different schools of Jammu participated in painting competition held at Bagh-e-Bahu which was the part of the 3-Day Intensive Awareness Initiative for Clean Tawi – Clean Jammu #Hero4Tawi conceived by Mrs. Bharti Vaid Chairperson Jammu and Kashmir Police Wives Welfare Association PWWA (Police Pariwar). The painting competition was held in the lawns overlooking river Tawi, Trikuta hills and parts of Jammu city.
Mrs. Bharti Vaid, Chairperson Jammu and Kashmir Police Wives Welfare Association-PWWA (Police Pariwar) interacted with the participating students and gave a valuable lecture on the cleanliness and hazards of plastic. The competition was broadcast live on 92.7 Big FM and MJ Juhi of the Big FM anchored the said programme. Gifts in the shape of T-shirts and bags were distributed among the winners of quiz competition by Mrs. Bharti Vaid.
Mrs. Bharti Vaid, Chairperson PWWA was accompanied by IGP Armed Shri Shafqat Watali, Chairman Organising Committee, and senior PWWA members Dr. Rubinder Kaur, Mrs. Shabnam Mir, Mrs. Asmat Salaria, Mrs. Anita Kumar, Mrs. Sunita Slathia, Mrs. Ravinder Kour and Shri Rajinder Gupta, DIG (Retd.).
