Power Grid Corporation of India limited, A Maharatna PSU, Northern Region Transmission System-II celebrated the Children’s Day, at Regional Headquarters Jammu a grand programmeorganised in the premises of its Residential Complex. The gala event was inaugurated by Mr. Rakesh Kumar, Executive Director NRTS- II followed by cake cutting ceremony accompanied by ShAmarjit, CGM (Projects) and President PEWA, Sh R.V.S. Kushwaha, CGM (Asset Management), Sh S.K. Verma, Head of Personnel, President, Srishti Mahila Samiti and other senior officials, employees & their family. Various recreational activities were also organised for the children of the employees like Joy rides, Ring and shooting stalls, Mickey Mouse bouncy, Popcorn and candy floss stalls etc. Children also enjoyed interaction with their favourite cartoon characters. It was followed by refreshment for the kids and the family members. The Executive Director NRTS- II highly appreciated the endeavours of Power Grid Employee’s Welfare Association and Srishti Mahila Samiti, RHQ Jammu, the joint organisers of the event. The programme provided an opportunity for the kids to enjoy their childhood freely as also the grown-ups to relive and reminisce their childhood memories.
