RAJOURI, January 27:
Hosts Choudhary Club Rajouri lifted the Republic Cup one-day volleyball tournament held at High School Bagla ground, here on the auspicious occasion of Republic Day.
As many as five local teams took part in this event and in the final Choudhary Club defeated Palma Volleyball Club 3-2 (25-20, 19-25, 22-25, 25-16, 15-11) in a tough contest. Headmaster of High School Bagla, Rambachan was the chief guest, who felicitated the winning team. The event took place under the aegis of Rajouri District Volleyball Association.
