The new government in UT of Jammu & Kashmir under leadership of Hon’ble Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah, along with cabinet of five ministers, took oath today to form a new government marking the beginning of a transformative journey for the UT. We wish that they work for development of the UT and fulll fill aspirations of the people.
Chamber for International Trade & Industry (CITI) is ready to support and work as force multiplier on development agenda of the new government.
CITI would like share Vision for Prosperity. Our 100-day agenda focuses on revitalizing Jammu and Kashmir’s economy through sustainable development, job creation, and innovative solutions. Key initiatives include:
District SDG Mission*: Collaborative approach with Niti Aayog, UN organizations, and potential stakeholders to achieve economic transformation aligned with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Globalization and Strategic Partnerships : Developing partnerships with developed countries to attract foreign investment, promote export-led growth, and enhance Jammu and Kashmir’s global competitiveness.
Industrial Development*:
Building on the Central Sector Scheme for Industrial Development (Rs. 28,400 crore) to attract investments and create employment opportunities.
*Infrastructure Boost*: Upgrading roads, transportation, and public services to improve connectivity and quality of life.
Wellness Tourism*: Developing wellness and forest healing tourism to promote health and wellbeing.
AI-Driven Governance*: Leveraging technology to optimize resource allocation, enhance citizen services, and drive innovation.
Implementation Roadmap*
Short-term (0-100 days): Stakeholder engagement, resource mapping, and needs assessment.
Medium-term (100-365 days): Launch pilot projects, establish partnerships, and develop AI-driven solutions.
– Long-term (1-5 years): Scale successful initiatives, monitor progress, and evaluate impact.
